dotStrategy, the parent company of the new Top Level Domain .buzz, is pleased to announce its association as a sponsor with NamesCon, the largest conference dedicated exclusively for the Internet name industry. dotStrategy will sponsor the massage booth- with two trained professional masseuses on hand – during the upcoming Las Vegas conference which is expecting up to 400+ uptight, tense, anxious and edgy domain name industry attendees. Along with booth sponsorship, dotStrategy President Bill Doshier will participate on a conference discussion panel focusing on the opportunities available around the 2014 global introduction of new Top Level Domains.
The conference, which will be held January 13-15, at the newly redecorated Tropicana Las Vegas Resort, is the creation of long time domain industry professional Richard Lau. Richard is being assisted with the event planning by another Internet industry professional Jodi Chamberlain of 32Events, LLC. The conference, certain to be a first class event, is designed primarily to educate and connect Internet naming professionals on the opportunities available in the domain name industry. The conference schedule content will include special sessions around Registry, Registrar and Registrant services -as well as domain development and legal or policy matters. 
The mission and purpose of the new .buzz top level domain is to provide registration space for registrants seeking to label their Internet-based content as noteworthy and as what’s happening right now. .buzz will be the prime online destination for Internet users seeking the latest news on a variety of topics. Among other communities, .buzz will appeal to those groups involved in blogging, communications, journalism, public relations, event organizers, social networking, entertainment, start-ups, advertising, marketing and development.
The timing of the event cannot be better for .buzz. With an expected January 15 launch date – actually scheduled during the NamesCon event – .buzz will be presented front and center in Las Vegas. Conference attendees are invited to stop by the dotStrategy booth, relax with a nice massage, pick up a .buzz shirt and talk ‘buzznames’ with the .buzz team.
